How to Build a Meritocracy
Dear Readers,
I have made my opinions very clear lately on how I feel about our current president. My attacks are not an attack on all conservatives. Although I do not believe in all of the principles of the Republican Party, I in fact hold several conservative principles. I believe in democracy and freedom for all, powered by regulated capitalism. I believe that death and violence should be the last resort in any situation, whether it is abortion, the death penalty, or war. I believe in conserving our planet, so that our children and grandchildren have a decent place to live. I believe in a meritocracy, a system that punishes evil and rewards good.
Last year our voting options were very limited. The reason I am being so vocal now is that we still have time to put up decent candidates for the 2020 election.
I believe that there is enough evidence to show that our president is a lying, cheating, sexual deviant. Conservatives, is this really the man you want to stand behind and give support to? Christians, how closely does this man resemble the teachings of Jesus? I’d align him more closely with the seven deadly sins.
If we take a moment to stop thinking about ourselves, we all have the same goal: to build a better planet/society. Our world does not need to be a zero-sum game. It hasn’t been one since the middle ages. This means that you can gain more without having to take from others. We can indeed create new wealth and prosperity through hard work and innovation.
